Prevention
At Steph Wills dental we encourage our patients to have a consistent oral hygiene routine. We believe prevention starts in education, with our dentists always happy to answer questions about products and your oral health routine. We supply a variety of products recommended by our practitioners, available for purchase at the front desk.

Good preventive care also includes annual or 6 monthly (if recommended by your dentist) check-ups with one of our dentists. This can typically consist of full mouth examinations, routine x-rays and a full mouth clean. Depending on the situation, your dentist may want to take further x-rays such as an OPG or do an intra-oral scan of your teeth for further clinical investigation.

Intraoral Scans
Your dentist will take a digital impression of your teeth using a scanning wand and 3D modelling. It's faster and mess-free compared to traditional methods.

OPG X-rays
Our Motueka practice has an orthopantomogram (OPG) machine that captures a large panoramic x-ray of your entire upper and lower jaw.

Cosmetics

Get your best smile on with us- our dentists do a lot of work restoring dental aesthetics and giving our patients confidence in their smile again.
Whether you're after a small boost in the ways of professional teeth whitening or in need of bigger restorations/build ups of worn-down teeth. You can also talk to one of our dentists about our denture services- full, partial or chrome.

Restorations and Emergencies
Fillings (composite resin and amalgam), oral surgery, root canal treatments, veneers and bridges- all the general dentistry treatments. As of 2026, Steph Wills Dental also now offers a same-day crown procedure. Done over two appointments in the same day, this eliminates the traditional weeks long wait for the crown to be made in a lab offsite as your dentist can now mill it in-house.

We provide emergency treatments for the relief of pain caused through trauma, or dental pain. In case of an emergency or facial swelling please contact reception and we will get you
in to see a practitioner as soon as possible.

If you find yourself in need of emergency dental care after clinic hours- please call reception regardless and you will be provided with the contact number of the after hours on-call dentist on our voicemail.
